Holyhead Lodge welcomes you
Holyhead Lodge is situated at the bottom of Maeshyfryd Road in Holyhead. It is very peaceful with little passing traffic. It has a private gated driveway that is monitored by CCTV 24/7 for your security, this is because it has a lot of expensive track cars from the Anglesey Circuit Race Track that stay during the racing season.
It is run by Pearl & Mel Smith, and their family. They have been running it as a B&B for some five years and have gone from strength to strength.
All the rooms are updated regularly and nothing is too much trouble for them. They will pick guests up off the late night ferry and drop you down the next morning to pick up your hire car or train.
The two Lodge rooms 1 & 2 are situated off the driveway and have their own private entrances, both are en-suite and have fridges and microwaves for your convenience.
Room 3 is a small double and is on the ground floor of the main house, this is again an en-suite room.
The double beds have Hypnia Mattresses for a perfect nights sleep, the singles have 9 inch thick orthopedics again for a great nights sleep.
All sheets and pillowcases are 100 percent Egyptian cotton.
All rooms have IPOD/IPHONE docking stations so you can charge your phone or listen to music. They also carry a stock of adapters for foreign guests should you forget yours.
All rooms have flat screen TV's, super fast WIFI, and full drinks trays containing a variety of teas, coffees, chocolates etc for your perusal.
They only use local suppliers for all there produce. Their honey comes off the Holyhead Mountain, which is less than a mile away, there sausage, bacon and eggs is all produced locally on the island.
In fact they serve varying spicy degrees of sausage from the very hot to the mild and various gluten free versions that can be pre booked in advance.
The family also run Charter Boats so sightseeing/fishing trips in the evenings are very popular with guests during the summer months.
